Why volunteer with us?
Your volunteer experience at the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival will be unlike any other. From meeting other friendly and energetic volunteers, to seeing your favourite artists play, festival volunteers have told us that volunteering is the highlight of their summer. And we’re not just saying that: in 2023 and 2024, the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival was also voted the Best Place to Volunteer in the Arts Sector in Saskatoon by Planet S Magazine’s Best of Saskatoon reader poll.

How it works
01
Register online to volunteer
Fill out the form below.
You’ll get a confirmation email and then will be added to our email list for monthly volunteer updates. (Note these emails from MailChimp and often go to your spam or junk folder, so please be diligent and check that you ARE receiving these updates).

Pay the volunteer
fee
All Festival volunteers are required to pay a $12.50 fee. Payment is due upon acceptance of the volunteer application. Applicants not approved to volunteer will not have to pay.

Volunteer
placement
You’ll be placed according to
availability, skills, experience, and operational requirements.

Attend Volunteer Orientation
Attend the annual Volunteer Orientation in June to meet your Volunteer Coordinator and learn more.

Confirm shifts and availability
Your Coordinator will then contact you closer to the festival regarding availability and shifts (we use a system called “SignUp” to schedule our volunteers).

festival
You’re all set to volunteer — enjoy the festival!
