Serena Ryder

This Juno Award winning singer-songwriter creates a hybrid sound influenced by folk, roots, country and adult contemporary. The Toronto native has been producing music since the young age of 17 when an independent label released her first album, Falling Out.
Going on to record multiple albums, including 2005’s Unlikely Emergency and Live in OZ, 2006’s If Your Memory Serves You Well, and 2008’s Is It Ok, from which she received the Juno Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year and New Artist of the Year.
She describes her latest album, Harmony, released in 2012 as “…the merging of symbiotic notes that join together to make the music louder, bigger…” The hit track “Stompa”, co-written and produced with Grammy nominated producer Jerrod Bettis (producer of 21 by Adele), was #1 on CBC’s Top 20 for a record 7 weeks and was featured in an episode of ABC’s hit Grey’s Anatomy.
