Join us at The Odeon after The Roots leave the stage for an afterparty featuring DJ Questlove behind the decks. Questlove might be a Grammy-winning producer and performer known worldwide for his work with The Roots, but when he takes to the turntables he’d prefer to be able to cut out the wattage of his star power and just make you dance with big groovin’ soulful beats.
THE GAFF
The Gaff is a soulful brother on the wheels of steel, with heart, tight skills, record knowledge and pure class. All for the purpose of elevating modern breaks, hip hop and dance music to a level where funk, soul, jazz, Afro, Brazilian, latin and world elements are combined into amazing performances and instrumental production. Gaff has rocked parties and clubs far and wide with his substantial record collection: either by all-vinyl 45 sets, or destroying it with tight scratching, drum pads and turntable Kung Fu. Specializing in rare original records of all genres throughout recorded history, Gaff has searched the globe for records with neck-snapping break beats, and head-nodding back beats.
