City and Colour

The voice is unmistakable – belonging to Dallas Green, perhaps better known as the man who writes, records, and performs under the moniker of City and Colour. Already renowned across Canada thanks to the success of his previous three full length albums – 2005’s Sometimes, 2008’s Bring Me Your Love, and 2011’s Little Hell. His much anticipated fourth album is set to release in June 2013.
The Juno Award winning singer-songwriter began his career with the post-hardcore band Alexisonfire as a guitarist and vocalist. The band called it quits in 2011 after Green found it too much to manage with the growing success of City and Colour.
Green’s frequent collaborators, most prominently include his close friend and creative counterpart Daniel Romano, whom Green cites as invaluable to his creativity. City and Colour’s live rhythm section, Dylan Green on drums with Scott Remila on bass and beautifully harmonized backing vocals.
Green cites of his music, “I’m just always aiming to become a better player and better songwriter, and this is the culmination of that at this point in time. I’m very proud of it, and that’s what is most important to me.”
